Its unfortunate for me to write to your office today due negligence of our management in Phiritona Heilbron. Its is now 2025 ...when i actually started to reside in ward 5 moherepa 2 location back in 2000, without any proper sanitation (sewage system), I'm writing to you in believe that i might get closure even though its highly impossible in this real world of today.
After so many years of struggling there was a contracted company that came along to do the sanitation project but couldn't finish their project due to a protest that was on a mission of demarcation by the community of phiritona in particular which lead the company to leave after the whole project being vandalized and equipment theft by the community members. The company managed to construct sewage system for a particular portion of houses, until when they had to start working on our last block about 10-13 houses including my parents house but had to leave due the protest.
Eventually after years again of hoping for the project to resume from where the last company ended their work , this new company was introduced to the community by our ward counsellor at a meeting held for the people of ward 5 ,that the sanitation project will resume and people will finally have their sewage system...it was with great sadness that my block of "13 houses wasn't mentioned to be part of the project but will only be considered if the company is finished on the chosen sections, pity enough those sections came after my section new sections to be clear...they're leaving a small portion of mere 13 houses for almost more or less 20 000 houses.
It's is so sad to be powerless and have no voice even when were voicing out our grievances to this matter, and it's not only this matter they're piling up as promises but never get to be attended to ,one counsellor after the other 25 years now using bucket system...my parents even passed away i have my own kid today still the same situation, yet I'm always at the voting stations every election time.
I hope this grievance here will reach someone who will eventually do something to prove that my voice was loud enough to make a bold statement and reach out for help.
