I am highly disappointed at Kliptown Magistrates court. Twice purchases was thrown out with concrete evidence and no communication or reason as to why it was dismissed without it reaching the magistrates desk for review, instead it's being reviewed by an arrogant Control Prosecutor who refuses to you as the complainant's case or side. Twice we had to sit in court whole day but yet we received communication to be in court. What pains me is we have a poor justice system that protects and favours wrongdoers more rather than protecting the complainant's. Must we first get killed and brutally beaten by family member who is high on drugs before we can be helped??? Then why do we have a justice system to begin with? I am disheartened to the core, I have no confidence in our community justice system at all. What is phe police being taught when taking and writing statements on simple court etiquette and word use. Police needs to be taught what words are to be used when writing statements that end up in court. A slight word change causes important cases to be thrown out without it even appearing in a courtroom, what happens next, that same rude arrogant Control prosecutor doesn't care if the complainant's lives are at stake or at ri k when releasing that accused drug addict. Only to come home to be violated, humiliated and threatened once again. This is the reason why citizens take matters in their own hands then only the law is quick to respond and react to it but couldn't help you when you turned to them for protection. How many innocent lives must be lost due to the justice system taking the parts of wrongdoers? I am highly disappointed at Kliptown Magistrates court.
